Amankara

Set on a hillside overlooking Aghios Lazaros beach, just off Psarrou, this island home is the ideal private refuge for a family of four. Working in collaboration with architect Dimitris Rizos, our main goal was to enhance the sense of vastness that the amazing views on the endless blue of the Aegean create. Inspired by its unique location we designed a house that connects the inside and the outside areas, uniting all spaces. The design features soft lines and carefully selected natural materials that are to be found on the island. The final result of a serene family home is further enhanced by the landscape architecture that makes an excellent use of the indigenous plants and herbs.
