Owner’s desire was to create a timeless classic interior for his home at sea, a highly luxurious but contemporary interior that would highlight the classic hull of the yacht. We selected light timber for all the joinery to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and accommodate properly the large-scale artworks from our client’s private art collection. An international client with an evident love for blue color. Transformed from top to bottom and embracing a chic new look this 60m long private yacht was richly layered and intricately detailed. We custom designed the rugs for the main and upper deck. The sunburst rug in the main deck was designed to depict the rays of sun. And the rug in the upper deck was designed to depict the waves of the sea. Boarding the yacht from the main deck you enter the spacious saloon that leads to the dining area . We selected a pinstriped carpet to elongate the corridor that leads to the 5 guest cabins with en suite marble-clad day heads. Each of the cabins has its own character yet at the same time the concept of the Aegean blue & white color pallet that continues throughout . Guests of all ages can enjoy any part of the yacht thanks to the elevator that was installed during the refit. Karageorgiou Interiors custom designed a nautical compass star made of marble scagliola to embellish the floor of the elevator and add to the luxury feel of the yacht. Accents of polished chrome were combined with starburst straw marquetry on a cabinet that we custom designed to create a contemporary luxe look. High quality materials such as blue onyx, woven leather, shagreen wallpaper and hand painted silk wallcovering were beautifully combined to create an effortless and exquisite interior. A jacuzzi along with 6 sun loungers and a comfortable seating area with bar were all added on refit to entertain guests. Marble bathrooms, hand-carved ceramic lamps, special hand painted finishes were also selected from our studio team to add luxurious touches to the yacht. A Spa area was created on owner’s desire for relaxation and therapy treatments along with a hair salon spot. Covered all in navy blue oak paneling, Bisazza tiles on the steam room and day head combined with blue-grey terrazzo stone and Gessi bath accessories gave a slick contemporary look to the space. Contemporary outdoor furniture added understated glamour to both the sun and main deck, creating a super chic entertaining space to embrace the opulence of yacht life.
